It has the precise purpose of informing the user about the processing of his personal data as required by law and EU Regulation. The information is provided only for the above mentioned site and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through special links.

Within the Company, the personal data of users are processed by employees of the various company functions, as persons authorized to process (“Appointees”). The persons in charge shall act under the direct authority of the Data Controller or the Data Processor.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The treatments related to the web services of this site take place at the headquarters of Marchitalia S.u.a.r.l and are handled only by technical personnel in charge of the processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is disseminated. The personal data provided by users who send requests for information material or registration to the database of the site, are used for the sole purpose of performing the service or provision requested.

MODALITIES OF THE PROCESSING

Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING

The data are processed for purposes functional to the performance of our activity in particular for:

  • provision of web interface-based services (user registration);
  • provision of information concerning those who have voluntarily subscribed to the database of our site;
  • statistical research; and
  • fulfilment of legal obligations.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing.

The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site: except for this eventuality, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than six months.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The personal data provided by users may be communicated to third parties in order to carry out the service provided according to the requests of the interested party. In particular, the data may be communicated to computer assistance companies and consultants in the accounting and tax field or service companies whose transmission is necessary to comply with the requests of the interested party. In any case, the data will be processed by authorized third parties, in full compliance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness and the provisions of law.

PERIOD OF CONSERVATION

The Marchitalia S.u.a.r.l only keeps the data for the time necessary to provide the service or for legal obligations.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Right of access to personal data: The user has the right to obtain from the Data Controller confirmation whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed and, if so, to obtain a copy of their data in our possession by writing to the address e-mail above indicated.

Right to correct or update personal data: The user has the right to obtain from the Data Controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him without undue delay. To modify your data or provide for the integration of the same where incomplete, the user can contact us in the manner indicated above.

Right to the portability of personal data: From 25 May 2018, the user has the right to the portability of his personal data. Data portability means the right to view your personal data provided to Centro Veterinario Specialistico srl (such as personal data and/or registration) or the right to receive in a structured format, common and machine-readable use of personal data concerning the user and the right to transmit such data to another controller. The user can send the request through the modes indicated above. In this case the data will be available within a maximum of 15 days from the request.

In the case of corporate clients, since the Regulation is addressed to individuals only, the portability of their data can only be requested in the case of individual companies and freelance professionals, only through their corporate contact person.

Right to restriction of processing: The user has the right to obtain from the Owner the restriction of processing. It is in fact recognized the right to the use of user data limited to what is necessary for the purpose of storage. In order for the user to exercise this right, he must resort to at least one of the following assumptions:

the data subject disputes the accuracy of the personal data;

  • the processing is unlawful and the user opposes the deletion of personal data; 
  • the data are necessary for the user to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court, while the Centro Veterinario Specialistico srl no longer serve for processing purposes; 
  • the user has opposed the processing and is waiting for the necessary checks to determine whether the legitimate reasons of the data controller prevail over those of the data subject.

In each of the cases mentioned above, therefore, the data can be processed only for the purpose of their storage, unless there is consent from the user or such processing is necessary for the exercise or defence of a right in court or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of public interest.

Right to erasure of personal data: We only retain your data for the time necessary to provide the requested service or to fulfill legal obligations. However, even in this case and under certain conditions, we may still be obliged not to permanently delete your data for: reasons of public security; the establishment, exercise or defence of a right in court or for the fulfilment of a legal obligation. The user can send the request for cancellation through the above methods. The data will be deleted within a maximum of 15 days from the request.

Revocation of consent and right of objection: The user can revoke his consent to the processing at any time. In some circumstances you may object to the processing of certain personal data by us. To change your consent, even after the conclusion of the contractual relationship, you can submit your request through the methods indicated above. In the absence of express revocation, we use your consent even after the termination of the service/contractual relationship. Finally, the user may, at any time, object to the processing of his personal data processed for direct marketing purposes and, if required by a particular situation, may object to the processing of your personal data processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Centro Veterinario Specialistico srl unless it is demonstrated the existence of overriding legitimate compelling reasons of the Centro Veterinario Specialistico srl to proceed with the treatment (e.g. the exercise or defence of a right in a court of law).

Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority: The data subject may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if he or she considers that his or her rights have been violated in accordance with the GDPR and the applicable legislation, as indicated on the website of the Guarantor, accessible at: www.garanteprivacy.it
